Freelance Producer

I am a freelance Record Producer and Mix Engineer based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I have been making records professionally for over 15 years, and have helped countless bands and artists level up and gain exposure. I Provide commercial and exciting records that have made it onto countless mainstream radio shows.

As a freelancer, I do not own or work for any one studio. I am free to work anywhere that suits the needs of the project.

I have a long standing relationship with Post Electric Studio in Edinburgh which I consider to be one of the finest studios in Scotland. This has, and will be, my first choice for most of my projects.

    Recording

    I love making huge records in great studios, full of vibe, character and analogue flavours. I can produce your band from the ground up or simply record drums for you to add to in your home studio.

    Online Mixing

    I love mixing exciting and energetic music. My private mix room is a hybrid of both digital and analogue technology, and is acoustically treated and optimised for honest and accurate mixing.

  • Drum Programming software used for composing drums

    Drum Programming

    If you don’t have a drummer, or cant afford to hire one, I can provide you with realistic and human sounding drums for any guitar driven music. You will be provided with audio and MIDI files to use at your discretion.

  • Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor

    Mastering

    I can provide digital mastering for streaming.

    I do not master my own work, instead I have a pool of high end and dedicated Mastering Engineers at a range of price points.
